THINGS TO DO IN ILOILO

Visit Islas de GigantesIf you want to escape the busy city life, this place is perfect for you. Going there is not as easy as 123.

  • Getting There:
    • From Manila
      • option 1: Plane to Roxas
      • Take a bus bound for Estancia travel time is 2 hours
      • Ride a boat bound for Gigantes (make sure to arrive in Estancia before noon since there is only one trip going to the island)
      • option 2: Plane to Iloilo
        • From ILO Airport, ride a shuttle, alight at SM Manduarriao (travel time is 20-30 mins; fare is 50php)
        • Get a cab to Tagbak Terminal (15-20mins travel time)
        • Take a bus/ van bound for Estancia travel time is 2.5-3 hours
        • Get a Tricycle to Estancia Port
        • Ride a boat bound for Gigantes (make sure to arrive in Estancia before noon since there is only one trip going to the island)

    • Take a cab going to Ortiz/ Parola Wharf (jump off point to Guimaras)
    • a passenger boat for 10-15 mins 
    • a tricycle going Alubihod Beach- 30-45 mins (250.00)
